Bridging our CommUNITY through Song!

The YCCT promotes music literacy and excellence in vocal artistry through the preparation and performance of choral singing. Through YCCT, youth in Central Texas experience sequential, comprehensive choral music education within an environment that instills the values of respect, discipline, kindness, service, individual creativity and leadership.

Our Ensemble:

The Youth Chorus of Central Texas is a choral arts organization for young people in Waco, Texas and surrounding areas. The Choir is made up of children ages 9-16 (grades 3-12) with plans to expand to grades 1-12 in future years. YCCT provides talented young singers the chance to experience the joy of choral singing and the opportunity to serve the community by performing throughout Central Texas.

Model of Unity Award:

The Youth Chorus of Central Texas was awarded the 2014 Model of Unity award from the Community Race Relations Coalition. The honor recognizes the group's geographic, economic and racial diversity among its singers.
